There are an estimated 65,000 food delivery workers in NYC. We depend on them but they never feel the love. In fact, they are frequently denied such necessities as bathroom access and shelter from the elements. It is a dangerous and thankless job. So Chick-fil-A stepped up and inspired a movement. Every TV Doctor wishes they had the power to save real lives. When Cigna wanted a high- profile campaign stressing the importance of preventive health, we gave those white-coated thespians that chance by inviting them to encourage everyone, regardless of provider, to see an actual MD for a free checkup. The awards were nice. Knowing it actually worked was way nicer.

The Time Shop a 2 minute film that rivaled the look, feel and heart of a Pixar short. Reminding people that “together time” is the best kind of time. The 10,000 square foot activation in the heart of SOHO, New York brought to life the magic of the film. The Time Shop recently won the prestigious 2020 EX Award for Best Pop-Up Retail Activation.

Hard to miss when your cast includes George Clooney, Andy Garcia, The Muppets, Janet Leigh, Burt Reynolds, John Candy, Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper, and your soundtrack is from Mel Torme. This may be the most expensive commercial McCann’s ever produced. And it was worth every penny.

The iconic Chick-Fil-A cows speak for themselves. Well, not really. Please pardon their horrible spelling.

It’s kind of a dream assignment. Take the animated world we introduced with “The Time Shop” in 2019 and expand it every holiday season with a new two-minute film-event from Chick-fil-A meant to inspire care. Together, these films bring to life a parallel universe called “Evergreen Hills.” 2021’s installment,“The Whoopsery,” transports Sam and her friend CeCe to a bakery where every accident can be turned into a delectable surprise. Last year’s film was called “The Spark” and was ranked among the season’s best. Both films debuted on Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Three years into the campaign, “A Cup Above” had doubled Nespresso’s business in the U.S. Cool as that was, nothing beats the fun of shooting on the Warner’s lot with George and director Grant Heslov. Having our star appear in social was a first, as was convincing Peter Gabriel to license “Solsbury Hill.” My one regret is we didn’t keep the dragon head.

Chick-Fil-A is known for outstanding customer service. We created the iconic Red Couch campaign as a platform to bring these real, authentic and heart warming stories to life. In recent months, we’ve split the couch in half to make production COVID safe.

The holidays are a challenging time for Office Depot, with most people focused on high priced items from other retailers for gifts to family and friends.

We saw this as a chance to turn everyday office supplies into snarky, passive-aggressive gifting opportunities for the people we work with and drive us crazy. 

We labeled these supplies and made them available in store and online.

Weight Watchers for Men introduces Charles Barkley. This notoriously manly man was the perfect choice to introduce WW’s new men’s division. Our biggest obstacle was that most men thought Weight Watchers was for women. The Lose Like A Man campaign has proven to be a huge success. Men are joining and losing more weight than ever. And, Charles looks better than ever!

Weight Watchers had its first big product innovation in ten years and we launched it by telling the world 'It's a New Day." We had Jennifer Hudson remake Nina Simone's classic Feeling Good. We did a full-length music video and released it in social media a few days before New Years Eve, the dawn of the year's biggest diet season. We took over New Years Eve Times Square where she performed the song live. And followed it with a TV campaign. And brought it home with a full hour on Oprah's finale season. The song is also available on itunes and was released on Jennifer's new album. The results are in. Weight Watchers sales skyrocketed and their stock jumped 46% in a single day.

To drive direct bookings, Choice Hotels, a portfolio of well-known mid-priced and budget hotels, needed to get very, very loud. So we called in The Clash. Who better to express the critical “choice” we all face before any trip. Finding the right room? That's the easy part.

It was an honor and pleasure to work on MasterCard's iconic priceless campaign. 

We worked with the New York, Buenos Aires and the London McCann offices to develop this campaign. Our simple brief was to create a global campaign that celebrated Coca-Cola’s iconic bottle and package design, one that can play around the world without major revisions. This campaign has aired globally and has been translated into countless languages. 

Sony Xplod. This print was illustrated by the one-and-only Ralph Steadman who's best known for his work with Hunter S. Thompson. It was an honor to work with such a talented artist.

Lowy Frames. I teamed up with local New York businesses to do this print campaign for Lowy, a high-end antique frame boutique that's been framing masterpieces for the MET, MOMA and Guggenheim Museum for over 100 years.

Sweet Escapes. It was a two-part assignment. First, people didn’t know that Sweet Escapes were a Hershey’s product. A better connection to the master brand would help improve sales and overall perception of quality. Second, we needed to clearly state that you could get the amazing taste of chocolate with 40% less fat. This simple print campaign did both!

The White House Project. A pro bono campaign I did for The White House Project, an organization who works to advance women in politics. I developed the logo over a drink with the founder, Marie C. Wilson. It was inspired by a smudge of her lipstick on a cocktail napkin. The logo is currently being used on WHP’s T-shirts, and has become a major source of revue for the organization. 

Lose For Good. The proposition is simple. For every pound you lose we'll donate a pound of food to someone, somewhere who needs it. Weight Watchers jumped on the idea and has been making an even bigger difference in the world ever since. The idea won a NY International Advertising Award, short-listed at Cannes, and the LFG logo was a finalist at the One Show.
